Burritt on the Mountain, in conjunction with Renaissance Theatre, is excited to bring back "Smoke On The Mountain"! First in the series, "Smoke On The Mountain" introduces you to that crazy Sanders Family with rollicking, rowdiness that is filled with wonderful singing and music. Why go to Branson to see this hit when you can laugh right here in Huntsville?
While on the road, the Sanders have to pull their car out of the ditch near the pickle factory and end up paying a visit to the local Mt. Pleasant Baptist church. Once there they begin testifying and telling their stories with poignant humor while blending their voices in entertaining harmonies which have pleased audiences everywhere! Reverend Oglethorpe sure has his hands full! At the Old Country church the service is about to begin! "Smoke on the Mountain" was conceived by Alan Bailey, written by Connie Ray, with musical arrangements by Mike Craver and is being presented by special arrangement with SAMUEL FRENCH, INC.
